[tab title=”About”]

Bombo Radyo Davao is located in the “most livable city in Asia” and the largest in the world in terms of land area – Davao City.

Bombo Radyo started in Davao in the early 80s at a time when the City was notoriously known as haven of NPA “sparrow hit squads” who shot and killed military and police personnel with impunity in any street, anywhere, anytime. As “sparrow” assassinations were almost daily occurrences, Bombo Radyo has always been in the forefront of such coverages and most of the time, Bombo reporters arrived in the crime scene ahead of the responding police or military authorities.

Since then, Bombo Radyo has become a by-word when it comes to coverage of news events not only in Davao City but even those happening anywhere in Mindanao, in the country or in the world. Its news and public affairs programs feature straightforward information, incisive and hard-hitting but fair commentaries which are recognized by the Davao audience (and even by its competitors) as the best that radio can offer.

Bombo Davao 576 KHz is sending a loud, clear and crisp signal through its solid state 15K SENDER Transmitter to cover the entire Davao City as well as the provinces of Davao del Sur and the City of Digos; Davao del Norte and the cities of Tagum, Panabo, and Island Garden City of Samal; Davao Oriental and the City of Mati; Compostela Valley, North Cotabato and the City of Kidapawan; southern portions of the provinces of Bukidnon and Agusan del Sur.
